On January 9th, the reporter learned from the Municipal Sports Bureau that the 2018 "world Snow Day and International Children's skiing Festival" would be held on January 21st. As a venue, Bailihuang alpine grassland ski resort in our city is going to hold rich and colorful skiing promotion activities for child and youth. This is the first International Ice Snow Festival to enter our city.

　　It was understood that 55 ski resorts, from 17 provinces, 2 autonomous regions and 2 municipalities of the country, are going to be used as the 2018 "World Snow Day and International Children's skiing Festival” event venues (including 1 main venue and 54 branch venues). The number of venues more than doubles compared with 26 venues last year.

　　The average elevation of Yichang Bailihuang alpine grassland tourist area is 1200 meters. Located in the peak of the tourist area, Bailihuang alpine grassland ski resort, which was officially opened in January 14th, 2017, is the city's first and only outdoor alpine skiing resort and ice and snow sports area.
