It was informed on January 10th that one-card emission permits have been issued to a total of 60 enterprises in 9 key industries of Yichang, thus completing the issue task in 2017.

　　To promote the “one-card” emission permit management reform, the Environmental Protection Bureau of Yichang, in accordance with the unified arrangement of the Environmental Protection Ministry, carried out in two phases the emission permit approval work in 9 key industries, such as thermal power, papermaking, cement, nitrogen fertilizer and so on in 2017.

　　For the next step, the city will follow exactly the “one card” management requirement, and strictly enforce the inspection of emission permission of 15 key industries accessible to emission permits as well as the permitted emission of the 60 enterprises with emission permits. And in accordance with the requirement of “issue an emission permit to an industry to make it clear up its act and to make it standardized and regularized”, the city will further strengthen the convergence and integration of the emission permission system and other environmental management systems, and promote the establishment of a new environmental management system with the government as the leader, enterprises as the main body, and with public participation.
