On January 16th, the reporter learned that since the opening of China (Hubei) Pilot Free Trade Zone Yichang Area (hereinafter referred to as Yichang Area) in April last year, 1,752 new market entities have been established, 1,039 of which are newly established enterprises. Among the newly established enterprises, there are 1,033 domestic enterprises with a total registered capital of 5.183 billion yuan. And there are six foreign invested enterprises (including 4 branches) with a total registered capital of 11.5 million US dollars.

　　The Biological Industrial Park in Yichang High-Tech Zone is the main battlefield in Yichang Area. Cao Ke, general manager of Hubei Kangquan Medical Technology Co., Ltd., returned from Wuhan to Yichang in 2016 and founded the company. His target industry was the development and production of medical equipment with high technology. In one year’s time, 3 buildings has been built, the automated production line has begun to experiment with the production of the first batch of medical catheters in the dust-free workshop, and laboratories, a sales department and a canteen have also been completed.
