On February 1, the largest specialized cold chain logistics centerin the Three Gorges region, with a total investment of 420 million yuanand anannual throughput of 5 million tons of goods, was officially opened in the Three Gorges Yinling Cold Chain Logistics Industry Parkin Yiling District.

　　On the sameday, the firstThree Gorges Yinlinghi SeafoodFestival was alsoheld in the park.The seafood area was bursting with popularityand clogged with people from 8 a.m. in the morning, and many seafood varieties were snapped up. At the same time, SF Express Western Hubei sorting center, the largest of the same typein western Hubei and eastern Chongqing,enteredthe industrial park and officially went into operation.

　　It is reported that the park project was introduced by Yiling District last year, with atotal land area of 242 mu, and a total construction area of 101,765 square meters, withagricultural products processing,testing center, general warehousing and low temperature storage, cold chain logistics and distribution, product exhibition trade, e-commerce supporting services all in one. And the park is the only one specialized in cold chain logistics in the Three Gorgesregion.

　　The SF sorting centercovers13 prefecture-level cities and Shennongjia Forest Zone within Hubei Province, with 29 branches, 130 direct service stations, 208 cooperative villagesand towns, and with adaily processing capacity of up to 230,000 pieces.
