Our city organized the first meeting of the leading group on e-commerce development on Feb. 2, and made an overall plan for the development of e-commerce of the whole city in 2018: efforts would be made to promote the in-depth integration of Internet with the real economy and accelerate the development of the internet in industries such as industry, agriculture, tourism, commerce and trade, so as to strive to achieve a breakthrough in the city’s e-commerce transaction volume of 150 billion yuan.

　　In 2017, 13 county-level e-commerce industrial parks were built with a four-level e-commerce logistics service network covering cities, counties, townships and villages. The city-level cross-border e-commerce industrial base was officially launched with 7,337 e-commerce market entities in the city, 10,266 online stores and 50,000 e-commerce employees. The e-commerce transaction volume surpassed 100 billion yuan, reaching 124.4 billion yuan, which held the second place in Hubei province. “Internet +” rapidly expanded from the field of life to the field of production, and “industrial e-commerce” formed strongly in Yichang.

　　In order to further promote rapid development of the city’s e-commerce industry ,in 2018, our city will vigorously promote the development of the Internet industry, encourage key enterprises to focus on supply chain management, carry out personalized customization and flexible production, synchronously promote internal information management and external Internet marketing, and foster a number of demonstration enterprise that synergistically developed with e-commerce and express and a number of design of regional agricultural products, platform integrated, base construction, brand promotion integration, and e-commerce integrated service model. The service function of e-commerce industrial parks will be further improved, and the level of village-level e-commerce integrated service station will be enhanced by strengthening logistics system construction of county, township and village, carefully nurturing all kinds of e-commerce market entities, promoting the model construction, and strengthening the effort in personnel training, to focus on the development level of rural e-commerce. It will strive to reach more than 150 billion yuan of the e-commerce volume of the whole city, to increase more than 1000 new e-commerce market entities, to add more than 4 enterprises which e-commerce volume over 100 million yuan by training more than 10 thousand of all kinds of e-commerce talents. Two e-commerce logistics city, including Wujiagang District and Yiling District, will be basically completed; 13 e-commerce industrial parks will finish construction; two cross-border e-commerce industry bases construction will be accelerated. It will strive to reach coverage rate of 100% of express coming into village, so as to inject new vitality for economic and social development of Yichang.
