Recently, the provincial government in Hubei has issued the fourth batch of 22 patriotism education bases, among which Yidu Museum and Dangyang Yuxi Folk Custom Museum in Yichang were on the list.

　　It is reported that a total of 11 places in Yichang have been selected as patriotism education bases in the first three batches, namely Yichang Cemetery of Revolutionary Martyrs., the city Museum, Three Visitors’ Cave Scenic Spot, Quyuan’s Hometown, Zhaojun Village in Xingshan, 77 Monuments des Martyrs in Ziqiu Town in Changyang Tujia Autonomous County, Wuluozhong Mountain Scenic Spot and Ma-Chi Soviet revolutionary sites in Changyang, Yuquan Temple and Xiangxi Revolutionary Martyr Cemetery in Dangyang and the China Three Gorges Project Dam area. Coupled with the fourth batch of Yidu Museum and Dangyang Yuxi Folk Museum, the number of provincial patriotism education bases in Yichang has been increased to 13.
