On March 9th, ameetingon the development of e-commerceis held in Yichang. The reporterlearns that the e-commerce transaction volumein our citywill reach 150 billion yuanthis year, and the annual transaction volumeof over ten e-commerce companies willexceed 10 million.

　　Last year, Yichang’s e-commerce industry transaction volume exceeded more than 120 billionyuan. Alarge number of e-commerce companies,such as LanchierGarmentCo., Ltd.and Shiwaitianyuan Co., Ltd. have grown rapidly.In order to promote the development of e-commerce industry in Yichang and inject new energy into economic transformation of the whole city, this yearour city willaccelerate theconstruction ofpublic service platforms and cross-border e-commerce platforms to make “SmartManufacturing in Yichang” more popular at home and abroad. Efforts will also be made to speed up the construction of two e-commerce malls and a number of e-commerce parks in Yiling and Wujiagang Districts, and help e-commerce enterprises fully settle down in these places. In themeantime, measures will be taken to bringin e-commercetalents, to support thekey e-commerceenterprises, and promote theindustrychaindevelopment with specific characteristics.
