On March 14th, another municipal road—Tonghang Road (from No.3 Yingbin Road to Fengqiao Road) in the Three Gorges Airport Economic Zone started construction, indicating further improvement of infrastructure and accelerated development of city-industry integrationin the Three Gorges Airport Economic Zone.

　　The Tonghang Road, which is two-way six-lane and close to Yichang General Aviation Industrial Park of Hainan Airlines Co., Ltd. (operation base), is an important municipal road in the Three Gorges Airport Economic Zone. The total length of it is 1.4 km. The width between boundary lines is 36 meters. Its investment budget is estimated to be 87 million yuan. As a longitudinal road running through the Three Gorges Airport Economic Zone, it has great significance in aspects of the construction of the Yichang General Aviation Industrial Park, the improvement of road network planning, the acceleration of land development along the road and investment promotion. This project, built by the Yichang Transportation Investment Co., Ltd., will be finished in 15 months and is expected to open to traffic in June, 2019.
