(Reporter Gao Wei, Correspondent Chen Jing and Tan Hongbo)On March 16th, construction of a steel component production project with an annual production capacity of 80,000 metric tons was commenced at Zhida Sci-Tech Park in Xiaoting County-ship District.

　　The project was invested by Guorun Steel Structure (Hubei) Co., Ltd with a total investment of 51.5 million RMB. The newly-built workshop will mainly produce steel structure components of prefabricated construction, and is expected to start its operation in November this year with an estimated annual sales volume of 56 million RMB.

　　It is learned that Guorun Group will build a production base of prefabricated construction components in Xiaoting to establish a green construction industrial park producing PC components, curtain walls, doors and windows as well steel and wooden structures.
