(Correspondent: Chen Xiaojun, Li Xibai; Reporter: Huang Yuyang) On March 26th, the Yichang High-tech Zone Management Committee and Hubei Minkang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. held a forum to sign the investment agreement of Minkang pharmaceutical industrial park project on the spot. Besides, the two sides exchanged views on speeding up the project of Minkang pharmaceutical industrial park.

　　The project of Minkang pharmaceutical industrial park is located in the Biological Industrial Park of the high-tech zone. Its total investment reaches about 600 million yuan. Among them, the investment in fixed assets is 350 million yuan. The main construction of the project are the Chinese medicine extract workshop, the liquid preparation workshop, the directly management building of scientific research and the utility and auxiliary facility matching with the production. And the construction period is 36 months.

　　After the projects are finished and put into production, it could produce 1.8 billion hard capsules, 2.3 billion tablets, 100 million bags of granule, 5 million bottles of powder, 12 million bottles of concentrated pill, 66 million oral liquid and 2 million bottles of mixture annually. It is estimated that the annual sales income can reach 1.15 billion yuan, the annual tax revenue can reach 50 million yuan and jobs for 500 people can be provided.

　　Li Meilin, the chairman of Hubei Minkang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., said that the project investment promotion should be further strengthened to take the unique advantages of the enterprise, so as to propel the further development of the company in Yichang.
