On March 27th,the stamping, welding, coating and synthetic resin workshops of GAC(Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd.) passenger vehicle projects in Yichang are officially launched, marking the comprehensivestart of GAC passenger vehicle project in Yichang.

　　On January 8th this year, the general assembly workshop renovation project in Yichang factory of GAC passenger vehicle was started; On March 15th , the biddingforstamping, welding, coating and synthetic resin workshops were opened; on the 23rdthe winnersof the bidswerepublicized; on the 27th the whole project was fullystarted... In the office of Xu Meifang, the director of the Investment Promotion Bureau of the Xiaoting District, the reporter saw a “Schedule for theconstruction headquarters of automobile and parts industrialpark in Yichang”, which makes clear the 28 tasks such as power supply, road construction, and land use,in terms of time nodesand responsible units.In order to speed up the construction of the project,Xiaoting District and theYichang branch office of GAC passenger vehicleset up the constructionheadquarters, which consists of four special workingteamstotake chargeof therelated issues,includingweekly coordination, monthly joint officemeetingand full tracking services. Before the biddingwas made for the general assembly shop,theGAC passenger vehicleYichang branch hadto completea large number of documents and submit them to thegovernment for approval. Now the district government has set up a promoting special teamfor approbation and construction application, with staff stayingin the factory, solvingthe problemson site, and completingthe approval of all projects half a monthin advance.
