By implementing the strategy of rural revitalization and building the core tourism area of the Three Gorges,Zigui county has made remarkable achievements on increasing people’s income under the local tourism development, which has attracted the attention of the CCTV media. CCTV’s financial channel Creating Wealth (Shengcaiyoudao) program came to Zigui to record the stories of developing local companies and increasing people’s income under local tourism development from Mar. 30th to Apr. 1st. 　　In Quyuan’s Hometown scenic area, the brilliant performance of Luo Liuying and Wang Zhengshuang, the non-hereditary inheritors with unique skills, attracted reporters to take pictures. “I was just a farmer before; however since the performing in the scenic area, while receiving salaries, I also get a chance to display the non-heritage culture of Zigui to audiences from all over the country.” Luo Liuying said to the reporters.

　　“My agritainment will be on CCTV!” exclaimed the owner of an agritainment named Bamboo Garden. CCTV journalists recorded the scenes of tourists making Zongzi (rice dumplings) and digging bamboo shoots in the farmhouse using the lenses. Zhao Xiaofei, a female host of CCTV, learned to make orange-flavored Zongzi and gave full praise after tasting it.

　　Chen Hongxiong, the owner of the Moon Flower Valley scenic spot(Yuelianghuagu), said: “Zigui’s plan to develop region-based tourism has given me confidence in the transformation of the tourism industry. Developing tourist attractions not only benefits local tourism industry but also helps people around become better off .”

　　The camera crew interviewed Li Zhenglun, the chairman of Zigui Qugu Food Co., Ltd., in order to know the legendary experience of selling Zigui navel orange to the whole world after deep processing under the development of Zigui Tourism. Gong Wanxiang, the manager of Jiuwan Silk and Tea Company, was also interviewed for his well-known wealth-creating story of green tea business.

　　Liu Zhicheng, director of this program, said: “Zigui has actively built the core tourism area of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River and revitalized the development of the rural economy. From the interview, we have witnessed many true stories of people becoming better off under the development of Zigui Tourism.”
