To attract talents to work in Hubei province, the provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security sponsors and the Talents Service Bureau of Hubei Province undertakes the activity of "I choose Hubei". On March 29th, the Chengdu stop of the activity was held in the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and Sichuan University respectively. 21 units from Wuhan, Yichang, Xiangyang, Xiaogan and Shiyan took part in the activity, providing more than 200 positions for 1,640 people. The 5 units from Yichang—China Three Gorges University, 710 Research Institute, Hubei Xingfa Chemicals Group Co. Ltd, Hubei Yihua Chemicals Group Co. Ltd, Humanwell Healthcare—provided 20 positions in research and development, teaching, medicine, chemical industry, sales and so on. Except for Wuhan, Yichang’s presence in the activity was the heaviest among all other cities and autonomous prefectures.

　　Through recruitment lectures, talks, two-way choice and on-site interview, 15 people intended to work in Yichang. Among them, 10 are undergraduate students, 3 postgraduate students and 2 doctoral students. They are all from Sichuan.
