After nearly half a year’s effort, the project of BYD Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, with an investment of 1.5 billion yuan, has successfully reached a contract recently. So far in Yichang, 137 contracts of newly investment projects have been signed in the 1st quarter, with an investment of 22.9 billion yuan, and the projects increased by 44% year-on-year.

　　In order to promote high-quality and steady growth of economy, Yichang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, taking the investment projects a NO.1 project, set up efforts on optimizing the investment environment, dispatching experts to focus on the leading enterprises and aim at the physical industry, which has won the initiative to attract investment, and achieved a remarkable effect.

On Feb. 26th, the two parties formally signed a cooperation agreement. The CMG would invest in a number of projects in five fields, including the comprehensive development of port parks, transportation infrastructure, industrial transformation and upgrading, industrial investment funds, and tourism development.

Moreover, Yichang actively promotes the negotiations with some large enterprises like China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation ( CSIC ), CRRC Corporation Limited(CRRC), and China Aerospace Science & Industry Corp in new materials, new energy, bio-medicine, new-generation information technology and high-end equipment manufacturing and so on. Meanwhile, it has also make breakthroughs in promoting the modern services such as finance and logistics, strategic industrial cooperation like the integration of soldiers and people, cultural tourism and wellness holiday project, the acquisition of Yichang Humanwell Pharmaceutical Co., LTD. and China Three Gorges Corporation in Yichang, and introducing a batch of national leading parts manufactures relied on the Trumpchi Yichang Base.
