On April 15th, the reporter learned from the Yichang Municipal Sports Bureau that the 2018 National Men's Weightlifting Championship will be held on April 19th, and the organizing committee has prepared nearly 30,000 free tickets for the public. At the same time, in order to promote the popularization and sustainable development of weightlifting in China, the organizing committee has also arranged for this tournament a special activity called "strength PK", in which citizens can compete with Olympic weightlifting champions and the world weightlifting champions.

Before April 18th, relevant departments will organize staff to hand out tickets to citizens. From April 19th to 22nd, they will also hand out about 2,000 free tickets at the entrance of the Yichang Municipal Stadium before the opening of the two games every day.

　　The activity "strength PK" includes three items, namely barbell full squat, deadlift and two-arm kettlebell. Citizens can sign up for the professional group or the amateur group. For the barbell full squat, the squatting weight of the professional group starts from 120kg and adds 10kg each time. And the amateur group starts from 100kg and adds 5kg every time. For the deadlift, participants can take any gesture to grip the barbell; the only requirement is they have to be able to stand straight. For the two-arm kettlebell, participants must use both hands and take any gesture to grip the barbell and lift it, and the participant who lifts the most times is the winner. All the movements of the participants will be guided by Olympic champions and world champions, with whom participants even have the opportunity to PK strength. The top three of each item in the two respective groups will gain the cash prize and all other participants will gain exquisite souvenirs.

Citizens can sign up successively in the "strength PK" area of the parking lot in the stadium at 14:00 on April 18th or they can follow the WeChat official account "Sports Yichang" and leave a message. People who sign up for "strength PK" can get two free tickets.
