On April 16th, the reporter learned from the civil administration department of Hubei province that, focusing on the general requirement of “accurately alleviating poverty, not leaving one person alone”, Yichang municipal party committee and municipal government, in accordance with the work plan of the “ guarantee a batch of the poor on social security” from the “five one batches”, took the initiative to fulfill the department's duties of guaranteeing the socialsecurity and planned to raise the urban and rural subsistence allowances standard this year under the condition of raising the standard for two times last year.

　　It was reported that the standard forurban subsistence allowances in Yichang wasgoing tobe raisedagain this yearand the standard would beadjusted from 500-560 yuan per person per month to 620-670 yuan per person per month; the standard forrural subsistence allowance would be adjusted from 4200-4800 yuan per person per year to 5280-6000 yuan per person per year.

　　The new standard clearly distinguishes the counties, cities and districts on urban subsistence allowances standard, among which Yichang urban area, Yiling District, Yidu City, Zhijiang City, Dangyang city and Yuan’an County are 670 yuan per person per month, and Xingshan County, Zigui County, Changyang Autonomous County and Wufeng Autonomous County are 620 yuan per person per month.

　　According to the new standard forrural subsistence allowances, the rural subsistence allowances are 6000 yuan per person per year, in Yichang urban area, Yiling District, Yidu City, Zhijiang City, Dangyang City and Yuan’an County andthe rural subsistence allowances are 5280 yuan per person per yearin Xingshan County, Zigui County, Changyang Autonomous County and Wufeng Autonomous County

　　As for the urban and rural support standard for the poorest, the standard invarious areas is determined according to twice the local urban and rural subsistence allowances standard.

　　As for the standard forlow-income families, the standard invarious areas is determined according to 1.5 times the standard forlow-income families.The standard for raising orphan is divided into two types, centralizedraising and scatteredraising, with different standards. Among them, the scattered raising standard of local orphans from different places is determined according to the raising standard of the local urban poorest;the centralized raising standard of the orphans is determined according to 1.6 times the raising standard of the local urban poorest.
