Grand Opening of Yichang “One-or-Two” Art Museum

  The opening ceremony of Yichang “One-or-Two” Art Museum, Yichang‘s first private art museum, was held in the morning of April 19th, attracting hundreds of representatives of the cultural and artistic circles and calligraphy amateurs in Hubei as well as Yichang citizens to be here. Synchronously opened along with it was the calligraphy works exhibition of Zhou Decong, a famous calligrapher and Chairman of Calligraphers Association in Yichang.

  Founded in July, 2014, “One-or Two” Art Museum is situated at No.6, Dongzhan Road, Wujiagang District, Yichang. It is the first private art museum in Yichang with the coverage of 5000 square meters. Created by Xin Ding Group, this art museum is a non-profit-making place that integrates art collection, exhibition, academic exchanges and aesthetic popularization into a whole, leading the art life in the Jingchu Area.

  The art museum consists of three well-proportioned white architecture with natural order indoors space artistically designed in changing lights and shadows. It holds a large number of ceramics, paintings and calligraphy of great historic significance as well as some seals of historical figures. He Jianchai, founder of “One-or-Two” Art Museum, expressed his wish that the private collection can showcase its own embedded value and make Chinese cultural transmission more diversified so as to leave behind more cultural heritages for descendants.

  It is informed that the calligraphy works exhibition of Zhou Decong’s will last to June 20th as the first exhibition of “One-or-Two” Art Museum. After its opening, the art museum will actively hold art exhibitions with rich contents, conduct art works collection and operation, develop cultural and creative art products to comprehensively advance the development of culturally and artistically related industries.
