　　At 11 o’clock in the morning, the reporter arrived at the hall of the first floor of Yichang Government Affairs Service Center, seeing the newly completed 24 Hours Self-service Permit Handling Area for Exit and Entry on the leftmost area. With the coverage of 20 square meters, it has automatic doors of ID card identification on both sides and automatic alarm devices sharing the network with the Public Security Bureau. There are also two Self-service Endorsement Machines for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, one for cash, the other for bank cards, which can meet the habitual demands of different people.

　　Later on, the reporter had a live experience under the guidance of immigration policemen. First, insert the card-like Hong Kong, Macao permit; second, click “OK” when your information has been read; third, choose endorsement type, place, expiry date, then click “OK” ; fourth, input your phone number; fifth, insert the Union Pay Card, input the passwords and then conduct payment; sixth, the system automatically endorses and certifies; seventh, get your card back after completion of endorsement and successful printing. The whole process is completed within three minutes.

　　In addition, citizens need to remember that: the payment amount for each endorsement is 15 yuan. The Endorsement Machine for Cash can’t give out change while the Endorsement Machine for Bank Card supports all Union Pay Card payment. And the newly added equipment allows only card-like electronic permits for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Citizen with book-like permits can apply for change for electronic permits and the window of exit and entry or endorse at the window directly. It is known that Yichang endorsement for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan only allows for group tour but not for self-guided tour.
