The 2018 National Men's Weightlifting Championship has been on for four days until April 22nd and the race concluded with the ending of 105+kg weightlifting competition at that night. The weightlifting championship included 8 categories of competitions with a total of 12 gold medalists.

　　Tian Tao, an athlete from Yichang City, won three champions, with a total effort of 367kg (170 kg snatch and 197 kg clean and jerk), though injured, and show his capacity.

　　Eight athletes from Hubei Province participated in this championship, among whom 4 were from Yichang City, including Zhang Jian (the men's 62kg category), Qin Yanglin (the men's 62 kg category), Tian Tao (the men's 85 kg category) and Zhao Fei (the men's 85 category), demonstrating the capacity of the native weightlifting athletes in this competition held in Yichang for the first time.
