On April 23rd,XingshanChaotianhou Rafting was official open to tourists. More than 200 rafting enthusiasts from Wuhanand Yichangcame to raft down theriver and become the first raftingtourists this year.

　　The Chaotianhou RaftingScenic Area is 6.5 kilometers long, with a drop of 148 meters, which goesthrough somebeautiful natural landscapes, such as Wofoshan, Baduanjin, Jiangjunzhu, Chaotianhou and so on.It hasonceset a national record of 12,000 visitors a day, and has received more than 200,000 visitorsoverthe past six years.

　　According to Xiang Yuanbin, the general manager of the scenic area, this yearChaotianhou Rafting Scenic Area has added some new experiencing activities such as military experience shooting, zip lining, recreational bicycling, RV camps, and water parks.A number of power supply facilities and parking lots have been installed in the scenic area.The scenic area has signed contractswith travel agencies in Hubei, Chongqing, central Shanghai, Guangdong and other eastern provinces and cities.
