In 3 days, the total number of tourists reached 3.2738 million with year-on-year growth of 27.68%; tourism income amounted to 1.342 billion yuan with year-on-year growth of 31.75%.

　　In the surrounding counties and cities, the "Flower-seeing Tour" and "Fruit Picking Tour" have attracted tourists from all parts of the country.Xiangwangzhai, Xianghualing, Longchi Mountain and other rural tourist spots in Changyang County received a total number of more than 200,000 visitors. In Caihua Township of Wufeng County, Huanghua Town in Yiling District and Xiaoxita Street, tourists can have a comfortable slow life by watching the mountains and water,as well as enjoyingthe flower picking and boat fishing.

　　The 9th Cherry Picking Festival was held in Wenxiandong Village of Yiling District during this period, attracting many citizens to pick cherries, enjoy spring scenery and taste local delicacies. The Three Gorges FuyuMountainFarming Style Park held an image endorsement contest,and students from the Three Gorges Tourism PolytechnicCollege competed in the competition and boostedthe cherry-picking; Mulberriescovered brancheson the Dream FamilyHomefarm, continuous stream of visitors from the suburbs drove to pick cherries; Yichang Dinosaur Theme Park had its grand opening in Longquan Ancient Town, and thistourism project supported by science and technology gavetouristsanew experience.

　　Xujiachong Village, an immigrant village in Yiling district has received a total of over 2000 tourists who came here in a desire of experiencing the new happy country’s life. Farmhouses and homestays were full of tourists. Three Gorges “MOXA” Themed Homestay has received nearly 350 tourists on April 29th. And the Hanjiadayuan Farmhouse has received more than 30 tables of visitors at noon sitting in six rooms.

　　High-end homestays like Qing House and Flowers Rang in Changyang County, Flowers-Picking Valley in Pangjiawan Town of Yuan’an County and some characteristic farmhouses like Jinqiaomengli Hometown and Baoshan Farmhouse have been so sought-after by visitors that they were fully taken during the holiday. Tourists came here for the beautiful natural environment, which impressed the visitors by singing birds and sparking pastoral scenes .

　　Various celebration activities also incited the citizens to go on a tour. On April 25, Changyang held the Linjun Cultural Tourism Festival in the honor of Linjun-the ancestor of Tujia people. Qingjiang Gallery Scenic Spot in the county held Tujia style performances in places like Gule Hall and Wuluozhonglishan Wharf for a row of three days. Qingjiang Fangshan Mountain Scenic Spot organized some performances full of local culture in the cable way spot and the tourists center, attracting many tourists.
