The reporter learnt on May 1st that 48 flights departed and arrived at Yichang Three Gorges Airport with nearly 6,250 passengerstransferred, ushering in a peak of return passenger flow during the Labor Day holiday.

　　It was learnt that the majorcitiesor tourism citiesas the flight destinations during the Labor Day holiday wereBeijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Guiyang, Urumqi, Ji’nan and Kunmingand the passengers took the flights for visiting relatives or tourism. Preliminary statistics suggested180 flightsin totaldepartedfrom and arrivedat Yichang Three Gorges Airport during the three-day vacation,putting through 22,268 passengers, with an increase of the numberof flights and passengertransfervolumeby 13.9% and 20.7% compared with the same period of last year, both hitting historical records high during the Labor Day holiday.
