The reporter learned from the news ventilation meeting of 2018 Yichang International Tea Trade Fair that, Yichang International Tea Trade Fair, which was mainly sponsored by the municipal party committee and the municipal government and organized by the municipal bureau of commerce, the municipal bureau of agriculture and other units, would be held in our city from May 7 to 10.

　　It was another grand meeting of the development of the tea industry in our city after the successful hosting of the Yichang International Tea Trade Fair last year. At that time, some related personnel of international and domestic tea industry organizations, including Ian Gibbs (President of the International Tea Committee), Ramaz Chanturiya(President of the Russian Tea And Coffee Association) and Yu Lu(Vice President of the China Chamber Of Commerce Of Foodstuffs And Native Produce), foreign dignitaries such as Maksat Tentimishov(Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Guangzhou) and others, and 38 international purchaser from leading exporters of tea and 17 countries and regions along “The Belt and Road Initiatives” as well as domestic guests, which counted to more than 200 people, would be invited to attend the fair.

　　The activities of this fair are rich and colorful. During the period, three visit and investigation activities would be held in Yiling District, Tujia Autonomous County of Wufeng and other places, and the guests would be organized to visit tea bases of planting, production and processing and the tea museums and the colorful tea activities would be carried out. The Yichang Tea Promotion Launch and the International Purchasing Project Signing Ceremony would also be held, so as to vigorously promote Yichang tea, burnish Yichang tea brand and sign the international tea trade agreements.
