Dr Chen Yongliang, a Canadian working for Yichang Humanwell Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd, was granted the Confirmation Letter for High-level Foreign Talents on May 2nd, and this was the first Confirmation Letter issued in Hubei Free Trade Zone since the Hubei Provincial Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs started the examination and approval of the Confirmation Letter for High-level Foreign Talents on March 1st.

　　The Foreign Affairs Office of Yichang Municipality has made great efforts to assist in the introduction of the elites as well as the scientists, the leading figures in technology-intensive sectors, the international entrepreneurs, the special talents and the foreign high-skilled workers urgently needed in China(Hubei)Free Trade Zone Yichang Area by simplification of procedures in handling of the formalities for foreigners working in China and premium processing of work-related affairs and residence permit for high-level foreign talents.

　　It took only three days for the first confirmation letter to be approved by Hubei Provincial Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs after it was submitted by the Yichang Humanwell Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd, as met the immediateneed of the enterprise and was highly praised by the foreign expert concerned.

　　It is learnt that the candidates that meet the criteria and possess the Confirmation Letter for High-level Foreign Talents issued by the Foreign Affairs Office of Hubei Provincial Government can possess a visa with the expiration date extended to 5 to 10 years with multiple entries and 180-day stays for a single entry.
