On May 22nd, it was informed from the business training conference of Standard Edition Promotion of Single Window for international trade in Yichang Free Trade Zone that customs clearance efficiency had been improved by about 40% since the China (Hubei) International Trade Single Window officially launched on January 5th, 2017.
At present, there are more than 70 global economic entities which have realized the single window, and othersare also actively promoting and trying such mode. Through systematic learning of the relevant knowledge, nearly 90 foreign trade companies and customs cargo forwarding companies in the city have prompted enterprises to further break through data barriers of foreign trade and port management, optimizing port business processes, and improving service efficiency of customs clearance and reducing operating costs of foreign trade companies through one-portal access, submission of the standardized documents and electronic information at one time. All these are conducive to reducing the links and costs, optimizing processes and improving efficiency in foreign trade. Now, the standard edition of Single Window for international trade in Yichang Free Trade Zone has realized “customs declaration, inspection, foreign exchange verification, export tax rebate, and other businesses handlings through one-portal access, one authentication login, and one-stop customs clearance services,” thus the efficiency has been increased by about 40%.
