The New Tourist Service Center of Chexi Scenic Spot in Dianjun District was put into use on May 19th, which was China’s Tourism Day. At the same time, the scenic spot opened an eco-friendly electric sightseeing car for the convenience of tourists.

　　The Chexi Tourist Service Center is close to the Yuanshanmen Archway. In the center of the square stands the landmark waterwheel with a height of 20 meters, which is antique and full of folk customs. The New Tourist Service Center also has a 30,000-square-meter parking lot that can accommodate 500 vehicles of different sizes at the same time.

　　It is learnt that the Chexi Scenic Spot is the earliest 4A-class scenic spot in Yichang. A large sum of money was invested to build the tourist center which provides ticket-selling, publicity and promotion, tour guide services, shopping, parking, transferring and other services. The tourist center also promotes green and environmental protection with practical actions to maintain the green mountains and clear water of Chexi Scenic Spot while enhancing the safe travel of tourists.
