At 9:18 am on May 25th, with the successful ticketing of Ms. Zhao from Heilongjiang Province, the Three Gorges Dam Scenic Spot ushered in its 1 millionth tourist in 2018. So far, its tourist reception officially has crossed the million mark, which is a month earlier than the same period last year, setting a record in its history.

　　On the same day, Ms. Zhao was rewarded by the scenic spot with flowers, books on the Three Gorges Project, and a lifetime free ticket.

　　The data shows that up to May 24, the total number of tourists in the spot has increased by 156,000 people compared with the same period of last year, with its land market achieving a cumulative increase of 29%, the highest of the same period in history.

　　Since the beginning of this year, the service facilities of the spot have been continuously improved, with the completion of the leisure facilities project and the re-greening of Tanziling and the renovation of the understory rest area, with the upgrading of the park monitoring system and the renovation of the interception park, and with the steady progress of the planning of the185 Park and the planning and design scheme of the interception park.

　　At the same time, the spot has increased its promotion efforts, and its land extension area has increased from 5 provinces last year to 11 provinces. A special research group has been set up to tailor the patriotism education practice class for students, and its Three Gorges Dam research tourism product has been rapidly spread from Yichang to the entire province even to the whole country.
