The business can apply for bank account only by submitting files to bank hall after online appointment. The bank review and approval and other procedures all can be operated online.

　　Gong Shuang explained, before putting the system into practice, the process of enterprises applying for an bank account was handled offline that they had to run to bank at least two times, and if the data were not complete, they might have to run many times. While today, they only need to go once, as the rest process are all operated online.

　　After a bank has completed its due diligence on an enterprise, the process can be efficiently shorten to one working day, from submitting the application materials to getting approval from the People’s Bank of China and then to receiving certificate for opening account by SMS. " Huang Wenxin, head of the Payment and Settlement Section of Yichang Central Branch of the People's Bank of China, said that at present, all banks in Yichang urban area (including Yiling District) have opened online application system for approval of opening accounts.

　　Yichang Central Branch of the People's Bank of China is integrating the online application system with the enterprise registration system and appointment system for opening an account of the administrative department for industry and commerce to realize Automatic generation and printing of relevant files. Once finished, the process of opening a RMB bank settlement account will be simpler and more effective.
