The number of days with fairly good quality was 7 days more than that at the same period time last year, making the urban air quality rate achieving 100%.

　　According to the statistics, the monthly average concentration of PM10 in the five districts, which were in the list of the national and provincial assessment, including Xiling District, Wujiagang District, Dianjun District, Yichang High-tech Zone, and Yiling District, was 69 micrograms/cubic meters in May, dropping by 8% compared with the same period time last year; There were 31 days with good air quality, 7 days more than that in May, 2017, with the ratio of good days reaching 100%; the maximum concentration of ozone for 8 hours was 135 micrograms/cubic meters, which decreased by 26.2% compared with the that last year.
