It is learned from the Three Gorges Bonded Logistics Center (TGBLC) on June 6th that the center has carried out 755 business operations this year with a cargo volume of 19,953 tons and a regulated value of 396,060,000 yuan. Since the closure of the customs operation for one year, the TGBLC has supervised a total of 518 million worth of goodsand wonthe first place in the province’s single unit performance.

　　Since the beginning of this year, the TGBLC has made overall arrangements and optimized procedures to improve the efficiency of customs clearance and has received strong support from a number of regular customers such as Xingfa Group. At the same time, the centerhas innovated itsdam getting-over operationbypurchasingcranes and forklifts,improvingramps to and from the warehouses, and increasinglabor service teams to meet increasing business demands. Recently, it hassigned contracts with companies such as Zhijiang Shengpin Grease, Belinco and Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide Medical, and the newly launched import business will bring it new economic growth points.
