On June 11th, the Yichang Education Bureau issuedthe online enrollment process for compulsory education in our city.Elementary school graduates who meet the enrollment requirements for urban public middle schools can apply online from June 15 to 20.Urban school-age children can apply for public elementary schoolsonline from June 21 to 26.Students of Grade Seven in private middle schoolscan apply online from July 2 to 8.

　　This year,our city has achieved a major breakthrough in the “Sunshine Enrollment”.School enrollment in the urban areas (including Xiling District, Wujiagang District, Dianjun District, Xiaoting District, and Gaoxin District) can be done via the Yichang government affairs service network or the “Citizen E Home” mobile phone software. Parents andstudents can applyonlinefor theadmission tourban public middleand elementaryschools as well as private schools,and then get the certificate of admissionat home.

　　On this online registration,parents of the students (guardians) need to makereal-name registration on Yichang government affairs service network or “Citizen E Home” mobile phone software. After registration, they can apply for theenrollment.It should be noted that students who choose to register for a private school can only apply forone school at a time and cannot change itafterapplication. Students who have been accepted by private middle schoolswill automatically lose their enrollment in public middle schools.
