During June 24 to 25, the 28 heads of the international departments of Key Medias from nine African countries such as Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria, came to pay a visit to Yichang Xingfa Group, Xinding Group and Yichang Municipal Planning Exhibition Hall.

　　Yichang, one of the important cities in the Yangtze river economic belt,has received constant attention at home and abroad due to its special location. The visiting group was eager to know how Yichang could do so well to make such a successful chemical industry transformation and promote high quality development of it. With this question in mind, they paid a visit to Xingfa Group New Material Industrial Park. They were told that only last year, some of the chemical enterprises along the river in Yichang had been closed or reformed, others had been moved and transformed. Xingfa Group took the lead to actively dismantle production devices along the river. The delegation was surprised when they saw more than 900 meters re-green Yangtze river shoreline and more than 53.36 hectares ecological lyre stored land. James, editor of Uganda New Vision Newspaper, said: "Xingfa Group,in the production of phosphorus products at the same time,does not forget to protect the environment,which has kept the green scenery along the Yangtze river. Therefore, the prosperity of Yichang and responsibility of enterprises are complementary to each other."

　　Later, the investigation team went to Xinding Group for the detail of the brand culture and production technology of Changshengchuan Hubei Green Brick Tea. After appreciating the traditional green brick tea show presented by the tea master, African friends picked up cups of tea and tasted the charm of Chinese culture in the tea. "The 600-year technology of making tea is traditional and attractive. The tea is very authentic and delicious, I must buy some and take it back for my friends." African friends were deeply attracted by Yichang traditional tea culture, and they praised Yichang tea and bought the tea on site.

　　The delegation group pays a visit to the municipal planning exhibition hall to know the past, present and the future of Yichang City.” It is amazing to see these living pictures and videos with the help of technology. Today, I’ve seen a glorious city, an energetic living place with a splendid future.” James said excitedly. ”It is these plans and strategies that give these city great opportunities to develop and show her charm.”

　　For these delegation members, it has been their long desired dream to come to see Three Gorges Project in Yichang - the largest hydro power project in the world-. At 9:00 am on June 25, they arrived at the dam crest, walking closely to the ship lift to see the great dam themselves. “So magnificent. It shows the massive progress Chinese people have made in science and technology.” Impressed by the splendid dam, Ala, a reporter of Leaders from Nigeria, remarked: ”China’s progress and achievements in architecture is impressive. I can feel the beauty of architecture here, whether in traditional or modern style. It is a great inspiration for my country.”
