July 1st, witnessed more than 100 athletes plying this new sport. After five rounds of 17 fierce competitions, the first Balloon Volleyball Competition in Yichang, and the 15th Sports Meeting of Balloon Volleyball Competition successfully ended in Yichang Gymnasium.

　　Balloon volleyball is another mass sport activity suitable for national fitness after volleyball and beach volleyball. Compared with traditional volleyball, balloon volleyball has characterized by large sphere, light weight, soft texture, elasticity, slow movement and easy control. But its playing and scoring methods are basically the same as those of competitive volleyball.
