On June 25th, the reporter learned from the Municipal Aging Problem Commission that the “Yichang Jiahe Right-safeguarding Service Center for Elderly People”, located at No.2-1 of Gezhouba business building in Dongshan Avenue, were registered successfully in the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau and became the first right-safeguarding service center for elderly people in the city.

　　According to introduction, Yichang Jiahe Right-safeguarding Service Center for Elderly People is a non-profit social public welfare organization specializing in right-safeguarding service, testamentary service, psychological counseling service and private wealth inheritance service for elderly people. Besides, the center will also set up the right-safeguarding work (stations) sites in the whole city and will go deep into the basic units, including various organs, schools, hospitals, communities, village committees and enterprises and undertakings, to solve difficulties for the elderly, so as to facilitate elderly people to get the right-safeguarding services near their own homes, which provides convenience for elderly people in our city to resolve disputes such as inheritance, neighboring, tort, marriage and family, home-based care for the aged and etc. (Reporter: Xiao Min; Correspondent: Zheng Ni)
