It is learned from Yichang’s Broadcasting and Entertainment Bureau recently that in order to provide a platform for the elderly to show their talents and express their healthy,optimistic and active life, the first talent competition for the elderly in Yichang &the 2019 national middle-aged and aged people spring-festival galaselection officially kicks off, which is co-sponsored by the bureau together with the Municipal Youth Office, the Retired Veteran Cadres of Municipal Party Committee, and the Civil Affairs Bureau.

　　The competition is divided into categories of vocal music, dance, language, charisma display and talent show. The top 5 teams selected in the first season will receive a bonus of 1,000 yuan respectively. In the second season, those outstanding programs finally selected will be awarded trophies and certificates;in addition,each team of the top ten will receive a bonus of 1,000 yuan. Applicants should be over 55 years of age for men and 50 for women. The registration is free and applicants only have to pay for their own accommodation, transportation, clothing and makeup costs.
