　　Located at the intersection of the Second Xiling Road and Yanjiang Avenue, the Zhixi Public Toilet was opened to the public on July ^11th. Looking from a distance, the public toilet is eye-catching and easy to find by several signs nearby. In the public toilet, the floor is clean and tidy, with the fans, sinks, and hand dryers provided, without any trace of odor.

　　In order to meet the needs of different people, there are unisex toilet cabins, toilet cabins specially designed for children, child safety seats, and barrier-free toilet cabins in the public toilet, which brought much convenience to the disabled, the elderly, children and maternal and babies.

　　“This is the emergency call button, which is connected to the duty room.”Mr. Wang, who is responsible for the toilet cleaning, pointed a button of the barrier-free toilet and said, “If something emergent happens in the toilet, as long as they press the button I can be informed immediately and help them in time."

　　The toilet reflects people's livelihood. A toilet is not only a matter of bringing convenience. It is more about people's livelihood and the image of a city.

　　Since the launch of the “Toilet Revolution” project, the Committee and the Government of Xiling District scientifically planned the construction of public toilets. In the early stage of the construction of the Zhixi public toilets, considering the intensive population gathering near the river bank, the Environmental Protection Department of Xiling District sped up the construction of public toilets according to local features with first priority given to the needs of people, which brought convenience to citizens and also demonstrated the people-centered conception.

　　It is learnt that this year Xiling District plans to build 11 public toilets and rebuild 10 public toilets to bring more convenience to the public.
