　　On Jul.17, the launching ceremony of “Three Gorges amazing ‘Ship’—China International Travel Service(CITS) taking you to have a tour in Yichang” organized by the Yichang Municipal Tourism Commission and the Head Office of CITS, was held on the “Three Gorges No. 9” luxury cruise ship. The Yichang Municipal Tourism Commission and the Head Office of CITS signed the Yichang Tourism Promotion Strategic Cooperation Agreement and released a new Yichang In-Depth Tourism Boutique Route.

　　This year, in response to changes in tourism environmentofthe Three Gorges cruise, the Yichang Municipal Tourism Commission and Head Office of CITS, connect the well-known high quality scenic spots into travel chain, including the Three Gorges Dam, Three Gorges Tribe Scenic Spot, Qingjiang River Gallery Scenic Resort, Qu Yuan’s Hometown, Xiling Gorge Scenic Spot, Great Falls, and Chexi Folk Custom Tour Site after repeated communication and consultation, and profound market research thus putting forward a series of mid-to-long-term tourism products covering two to seven days, including summer tour, home stay tour and study tour.

　　“You can get off the boat during the day for sightseeing and sleep on the boat at night. Then you can carry your bags home at the station.” This was the true portrayal of most visitors in the past to experience the cruise products of the Three Gorges.Yang Guang, deputy general manager of CITS(Yichang) told reporters that the amazing “ship”series of multi-day tour products, which abandoned the previous simple tourism model, would help tourists to experience the local customs to the shore and participate in activities such as eating, shopping, and entertainment thus improving the quality and comfort of tourism.

　　Li Qiang, deputy director of the Yichang Municipal Tourism Commission, said that the launch of multi-day tour products ofthe Three Gorges cruise had broken the previous condition that cruise products in Yichang were mainly “half-day tour”, “one-day tour”and “transit sightseeing”, a great increase of the lengthen of stay for tourists in Yichang.

　　According to the Framework, the Head Office of CITS will organize subordinate enterprises to organize more than 30,000 inbound tourists and more than 20,000 domestic tourists travel to Yichang within one year. At the launching ceremony, Yichang Municipal Tourism Commission also organized representatives to launch the campaign named“Thousands of Streams from Different Places Merge into Yangtze River”to call for protection of Yangtze river.
