On July 20, the press conference of “The Ranking List of 2018 Top 100 Cities in China” was held in Shanghai and officially released “The Ranking List of 2018 Top 100 Cities in China”. It was the fourth time that Warton Economic Institute consecutively released the annual ranking list of top 100 cities in China. So far, Yichang has been on the list for four consecutive years. Compared with 2017, Yichang has risen from 65th to 61st this year.

　　On “The Ranking List of 2018 Top 100 Cities in China”, Beijing topped the list with 93.74 points, while Shanghai and Guangzhou ranked No.2 and No.3 by 88.23 points and 83.40 points respectively. Cities with more than 70 points also include No.4 to No.10 of Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Suzhou, Tianjin, Wuhan and Chongqing. The top ten cities have remained unchanged for four consecutive years. Compared with 2017, the ranking of some cities has changed. Hangzhou rose from No.7 to No.5, Suzhou rose from No.8 to No.7, Wuhan rose from No.10 to No.9, and Tianjin dropped from No.5 to No.8.
