On Jul. 25, the Yichang Municipal Agriculture Bureau held a press conference on the agricultural product quality and safety of the city and the public open day of the testing laboratory. Shang Kui, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress, was present at the event.

　　This year, the Yichang Municipal Agricultural Bureau has comprehensively carried out quality and safety monitoring of agricultural products, and specificrectification in response to prominent problems and hidden dangers. In the first half of the year, 47, 859 batches of agricultural (animal) products were sampled at the three levels of cities, counties and townships, with qualified rate of 99.95%. At present, there are 280 enterprises that effectively use “three products and one indication” in the city, with a total of 532.
