From today to August 2, the “Yiyuanjianzhu” Cup 2008 Hubei Junior Shooting Championships and Provincial Games Test Event will be held in the Shooting Hall of Yichang Olympic Center. It is not only the first time that our city has hosted the provincial shooting competitions, but also the first time that the Yichang Olympic Center has hosted the sports events.

　　The shooting competition, which was hosted by the Provincial Sports Bureau and the Provincial Education Department, attracted 10 teams and 217 athletes from the provincial vocational school, Wuhan, Huangshi, Xiangyang, Shiyan, Xiaogan, Ezhou, Huanggang, Jingmen and Yichang to complete. Yesterday, the athletes took the academic course test. For the athletes who failed to reach the standard, the sports performances of them would not be counted.
