“Who is the internet celebrity? Qu Yuan is the poetry celebrity!” On July 30th, under the theme of “Travelling across the Millennium Yichang, Memorizing Qu Yuan and Zhaojun”, the Cultural and Tourist Experience Event was jointly held by Yichang Tourism Development Committee and Sina Hubei, at which the well-known woman writer Su Qin and the historian Wei Xin expressed their expectations and longings for Yichang to thenetizens across the country via live webcast.
On that day, six representatives of tourist internet celebrities from all over the country and two cultural celebrities were invited to form a VIP Travelling Experience Group to the Three Gorges Dam. Under the theme experience routes of “Travelling across the Millennium Yichang, Memorizing Qu Yuan and Zhaojun”, they will stay at Yichang for 4 days and 3 nights, speakingf or Yichang’s beautiful sceneries.
At the event, Su Qin and Wei Xin composed poems for Yichang. Two photos walls, consisting of thousands of tourists’ photos being taken in major scenic spots of Yichang, namely, Three Gorges Dam,Three Visitors’Cave, Qingjiang River Scenic Spot, Quyuan Hometown,have been arranged in the shape of “Falling in Love with Yichang, Cheer upfor You”, filled with global tourists’ praises for “the Hometown of Qu Yuan and Zhaojun, World Famous Hydroelectric City”.
It is learned that this event,jointly organized by the Municipal Tourism Commission and the New Media Creative Marketing,is one of the“2018 Falling in Love with Yichang Network Fan Carnival” activities. The event includes“Love beautiful Yichang, Play the Flash Show”, “Love Yichang, Cheer up for You” network interactive activities, “Travelling across Millennium Yichang, Memorizing Qu Yuan and Zhaojun” VIP Travelling Experience Groupand Love for Yichang Fans Welfare DAY, which aim to promote the Yichang image as “Quyuan and Zhaojun’s Hometown, and World Renowned Hydroelectric City”.
The event will be respectively held in the hometown of Qu Yuan(in Zigui County) and the hometown of Zhaojun(in Xingshan County), and it will be live broadcast to the global audience of “A Bite of Qu Yuan’s Family Feast” and “Come to Meet Zhao Zhaojun at Her Hometown” to create a carnival feast for online fans. Up to now, the readers of the event on Weibo have exceeded 50 million times, over 10,000 people have participated in the discussion, and the activity flash video has been played over one million times.
