From now on, the City Fire Service Stations will open to the sanitation workers free of charge,adding up to 29 new “Love Stations”.
At the Fire Squadron “Love Station”in Shangshangu, apart from sofas, water dispensers, toilets, microwave ovens, refrigerators and other essential items, there are also some recreational facilities, such as televisions, newspapers and magazines, etc. WuJiagang Fire Brigade instructor Liu standsat the door and warmly greetsthe sanitation workers to enter the station. “The Love Station can serve 24 hours a day. At 4: 00 in the morning, everyone will start to work. But at that time, there is no place to rest.So just come here and rest.”
Xu Hengchang, a sanitation worker, sits on the sofa and stretches out comfortably. He says happily: “Here is the place to rest. It’s really good. When it rains, our sanitation workers have no place to shelter from the rain; we can come and have a rest here. And on hot days at noon, we can come in and enjoy the cool air.”
It is understood that the city will add 29 Love Stations as Shangshangu. Among them, there are 15 stations in the urban area, including Fire Squadrons, On-Duty Stations and Small Fire Stations in the urban area. In addition, another 14 On-Duty Stationsin Wufeng, Zigui, Yuan’an, Yidu, Dangyang, Zhijiang, Yiling district, Xingshan, Changyang will also open to the sanitation workers free of charge.
