On July 31, to make sure pedestrians cross the street safely and traffic is smooth, the Wujiagang District Traffic Police Brigade reminded drivers that the traffic control department will take relevant measures to adjust the traffic order in view of the fact that the Jianghai intersection is located in the junction of three Gorges tourist Center and Wanda business district,along with the large passenger and traffic flow, and relatively complex traffic environment as well.

　　Relevant responsible person of Wujiagang District Traffic Police Brigade introduced, for the large traffic flow in rush hours in the morning and evening, some measures will be taken: the reflective cone barrels isolation (the Isolation fence will be added later) will be used at Jianghai intersection, and all vehicles are forbidden to turn left and turn around hereto reduce the traffic pressure of the main road; the car park exit will be moved down 200 meters in the direction of Wujiagang; left-turn lane and U-turn lane from Yanjiang Road to Wujiagang will be exchanged with through lane, the right-most near the river, just like the BRT on Dongshan road, of which the left-turn lane and U-turn lane are at the far right side to make car get through the intersection quickly by sparing more turning radius for cars; and the through lanes will be remained three ones; pedestrian crossing marking will be moved down by 5 meters to the Wujiagang direction to keep of fthe parking lot entrance and reduce cut in of people and cars; traffic signal lights and crosswalk lights at T-junction will be opened to separate pedestrian crossing and vehicle passing at Jianghai junction, so as to improve the efficiency of traffic and ensure the safety of pedestrians.(Reporter: Gong Changjun; Correspondent: Shi Ning, Gao Ran)
