“Hello, Songjiagou Expedition Routes have been closed. Please visit nearby scenic spots......” On August 4, at the entrance of Songjiagou, Letianxi Town, Yiling District, 10 outdoor enthusiasts from Jingzhou were persuaded to return.
On the same day, Yiling District arranged more than 50 people on duty at the entrances and exits of the seven major expedition routes in the district. According to the requirements of Notice on Strengthening the Safety Management of Outdoor Expeditions of the District Government, Yiling District implemented the principle of direct departments contact and localized management. The township was led by the leaders in charge; the towns and villages sent two to four people to guard on the spot respectively, and persuade the outdoor adventure enthusiasts to return, so as to achieve three-level linkage, thus ensuring the safety of outdoor adventure activities.
At present, more than 50 warning signs and warning slogans have been set up on the main exploration routes in Yiling District, and 2000 copies of A Letter to the Vast Number of Outdoor Adventure Enthusiasts have been issued. After the in-depth propaganda in the early stage, the number of outdoor explorers has been greatly reduced, but there are still some uninformed foreign explorers. On the same day, about 120 people and more than 30 vehicles were successfully persuaded to return, and no one entered the danger zone all day.
