Recently,Notice of the Municipal People's Government Office on Accelerating the Reform of Rural Drinking Water Corporatization issued by Yichang government, has to determine a clear direction, so as to solve the problem of post-construction operation and maintenance of rural drinking water safety project.

　　The Notice indicates,that counties and urban districts can select the construction mode of water supply companies at county level, rural level and township level in accordance with the actual situations, and the companies shall undertake the project declaration, design, construction, operation, management and so on. And it is also points out that by 2020, the rural centralized water supply network in our city will cover more than 85% of the rural population (among them, Zhijiang City and Dangyang City will reach 90%, other counties, districts and Yiling District will reach 85%), and the water supply rate will reach above 95%.

　　It is understood that as of the end of July, the rural water supply in Zhijiang City has been fully covered; a county-level water investment company has been established in Zigui County, which integrates some water plants; water supply companies have been set up in 4 townships in Yuan’an County, including Leizu Town, Jiuxian Town, Maopingchang Town and Hekou Township; Xingshan Water-control Bureau has established a county-level rural water supply company with Xingfa Chemicals Group CO. Ltd Water Supply Company, and 3 villages of Zhaojun Village, Pu'an Village and Juping Village have been handed pilots over; Taipingxi Town Water Plant in Yiling District has been integrated basically.
