On August 14, the reporter learned from the Yichang Municipal Development and Reform Commission that the results of the assessment of Hubei energy conservation work in 2017 were released recently. Yichang over fulfilled the 2017 energy conservation target and won the special award fund for provincial energy conservation. Yichang has exceeded provincial energy conservation target for 7 consecutive years.

　　Over the years, the city has actively implemented the concept of green development, strictly taken the action in the “double control” goal of total energy consumption and intensity, increasing the construction of key projects, positively promoting chemical transformation, energy-saving technologies, and strengthening policy incentives and energy. The energy structure has been continuously optimized, and energy-saving work has achieved outstanding results.
