On August 17, reporters learned from the press conference of 2018 the 9th China International Road Cycling Race in Zhijiang County of Yichang City that the race will be held in Zhijiang on September 12. There will be 22 teams from five continents, including 16 champion cycling teams from Europe, America, Asia and Africa .

　　The Zhijiang circuit mainly covers Youyi Avenue, Minzu Avenue, Xiannv Avenue, new 318 National Highway, Jinhu National Wetland Park, the famous Maituo Temple in west Hubei , Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of Zhijiang County, Electronic Information Industrial Park, Full-Season Port Park and other urban trunk roads and scenic spots. When the riders devote themselves in cycling, they can also take a breath to enjoy the beautiful rural scenery and unique regional culture of Zhijiang. In addition, there will also be many activities, like grand carnival, honorary cycling, cycling for thousands of people, floats parade during the event.

　　It is reported that the Tour de China International Road Cycling Race is approved by the International Cycling Union and General Administration of Sport. The annual National Men's Professional Road Cycling Race sponsored by the Chinese Cycling Association is the only cross-regional international sports event named after the country. Zhijiang has hosted the nine Bailizhou Cycling Races successively. Last year, it successfully hosted the 2017 Zhijiang branch race of China Cycling League.
