On August 21st, China Smart City International Expo 2018 was held in Shenzhen and the “China Smart Urban Governance Assessment Report” was released. Yichang won the 2018 China Smart Urban Governance Award.

　　According to the assessment report, Yichang has taken the lead in forming a new construction system of smart city integration by using a comprehensive integrated cloud platform, which includes the e-government cloud,the education cloud, the health care cloud, the social security cloud, the citizen cloud, the hospital cloud, the video surveillance cloud, etc. In recent years, the city has actively promoted the fusion and sharing of government affairs data and made great efforts to construct a smart governance system with large data as the axis. Yichang has also taken the lead in building a smart government system covering the four levels of cities, counties, towns and villages (communities), a social governance system with full smart grid coverage and a people-centered smart people's livelihood system.
