Yichang City -Dangyang City Intercity Bus Starts on Aug. 28

　　On Aug. 26, the City Public Transport Group announced that No. 806 intercity bus: Yichang City to Dangyang City would be officially launched on Aug.28, which meant that the intercity bus from Yichang City to surrounding counties and cities would be fully covered.Previously, the intercity buses: from Yichang City to Xingshan County, Yidu City, Changyang Tujia Autonomous County, Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County, Yuanan County, Zigui County, and Zhijiang City had been launched in succession.

　　It is reported that the No. 806 intercity bus is operated on two routes, namely from Yichang Coach Station to Dangyang Bus Station and from Yichang Bus Center Station to Dangyang Bus Station. The opening time and closing time form Yichang Coach Station to Dangyang Bus Station are respectively 6:00 and 18:30; the opening time and closing time from Dangyang Bus Station to Yichang Coach Station are respectively 6:00 and 18:45; the opening time and closing time from Yichang Bus Center Station to Dangyang Bus Station are respectively 6:50 and 19:00; the opening time and closing time from Dangyang Bus Station to Yichang Bus Center Station are respectively 6:10and 18:30; the opening time and closing time of the night bus from Yichang Bus Center Station to Dangyang Bus Station are respectively 19:00 and 21:10. The frequency interval is not more than 15 minutes in peak period and no more than 20 minutes at usual time.

　　According to the relevant person in charge of Yichang Public Transport Group, the No. 806 intercity bus will carryout a preferential fare of 20 RMB per person.And this route will launch a series of measures to benefit the people at irregular time at the beginning of operation. It takes 100 minutes from Yichang Coach Station to Dangyang City and 60 minutes from Yichang Bus Central Station to Dangyang City with full speed in the whole way. Theroute passes through the main urban area of Yichang City and Dangyang City. Besides, it sets up bus stop along the way to fully realize the “door-to-door”service.
