The reporter learned from the tourism department on August 28 that the 2018 Provincial Financial Support Tourism Poverty Alleviation Quality Project was publicized, and Yichang’s five projects were selected.

　　It’s learned that the selected five projects are the key regional construction projects of Bailihuang Alpine Grassland Tourist Area in Yiling District, the in-depth development projects of Wuling Mount Tourism Area in Wufeng County, the tourist facilities improvement project of Jiuwanxi Scenic Area in Zigui County, the Fuyushan Mount Ancient Weapon Village Culture and the Ecological Tourist Area in Yiling District, and the Hubei Qingjianghualang Daoyingxia Gorge Tourism Scenic Area construction project in Changyang County.

　　The five tourism projects have been selected as targets of provincial support, which can solve some crucial issues such as expensive, difficult and slow financing problems between enterprises and projects. The government can strengthen the concessional loan support on tourism poverty alleviation project, nurture and develop a batch of tourism project at a high construction level, practical mechanism for targeted poverty alleviation along with good management and strong demonstration effect, driving more poor villages, poor families and poor people in record out of poverty with higher income.
